This is a set of strings for the Viennese Bass. We have bundled together the most popular kinds of strings and offer them in a standard set for ordering convenience.
The set consists of:
- A-1 - Lyon gut
- F#-2 - Lyon gut
- D-3 - Pistoy gut
- A-4 - Silverplate wire wound onto gut core
- E-5 - Silverplate wire wound onto gut core
Plain gut strings are available with a natural or varnish finish. Natural strings are hand-rubbed with a light oil. Varnished strings have three coats of finish before being hand polished with the oil. There is an additional charge for varnished strings. The set comes with plain ends, but for the a-1, f#-2, and D-3 washers can be added for an additional charge.
Wound strings for the Viennese Bass are warrantied for a period of six months from the date of shipping.
