Product Description

The solo gauges are assuming a pitch of a-440.

This is a single length gut core string with a copper wire winding and a thin silk layer wound onto the core between the gut and wire. Because the wire is a solid metal, the wire is polished slightly to reduce the feel the texture the wire. The tone is quick and bright. The end of the string that goes into the tailpiece is with a loop of gut on the end.

Wound strings for the contra bass are warranted for a period of six months from the date of shipping.
