This is a strap for lutes and early guitars. It is made of 1" black cotton webbing with a slotted leather tab on one end that slips over the strap button and a leather loop at the other end for putting around the head and pegs. You can adjust the placement of the loop to achieve the most comfortable balance.
The strap is adjustable from 26" (66cm) to 50" (127cm) and will accommodate most instruments and players.
The instrument strap that Mr. Larson offers is very functional and the price is reasonable. It would cost you the same to make your own; I base the aforementioned on experience. The two things that make this strap highly functional are the pre-tied loop & adjustable buckle. I highly recommend this strap for players.
Very nice hand made strap. light weight, fully adjustable. Strap is cotton, so not slippery like synthetic is. Very Happy!
Looking for a well made lute strap brought me to Dan Larson's store, a usual. The strap is a good quality, reasonably priced, and works as it should.
