This liuto attiorbato (theorboed lute, or archlute) incorporates the features of a Venere-model body scaled to a 61cm string length with 14 double courses. The extension is 120cm and double courses are used throughout, except for the top string. Materials include Italian Alpine figured spruce front, ebony veneered neck and extension, the body is divided into 21 shaded yew ribs.
